Planisys provides cloud hosting, email services, DNS, and network infrastructure. By using our services, you agree to abide by this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), ensuring responsible, secure, and legal usage.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in activities that compromise security, violate applicable laws, or disrupt network integrity, including:
- Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, or hacking tools.
- Attempting unauthorized access, hacking, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Hosting phishing websites, fraudulent content, or misleading services.
- Engaging in intellectual property violations, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material.
- Using Planisys services for reselling or proxying traffic without prior authorization.
3. Email Security & Spam Policy
Planisys enforces a strict anti-spam policy to maintain email security and compliance with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC standards.
3.1 Email Authentication Compliance
- All emails sent from VPS instances must use an authorized relay with proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
- Direct email sending from VPS without authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) is strictly prohibited.
- Emails failing DMARC policy enforcement may be blocked without prior notice.
3.2 Bulk Email & Bounce Handling
- Bulk email senders must maintain proper opt-in lists and honor unsubscribe requests.
- Failing to remove bounced email addresses is a violation of this policy.
- Use of purchased email lists or third-party contacts without explicit consent is strictly forbidden.
3.3 Unauthorized Use & Spam
- Sending unsolicited commercial email (spam) is strictly prohibited.
- Hosting applications that send mass emails without prior authorization will result in immediate suspension.
- Planisys actively participates in email feedback loops (FBLs) with major ISPs to detect abuse.
4. Security & Software Vulnerabilities
Users are responsible for securing their environments. The following security violations are strictly prohibited:
- Running unpatched or outdated software that poses a security risk.
- Operating open mail relays, open proxies, or publicly exposed services without authentication.
- Failing to mitigate DDoS attacks or botnet abuse originating from hosted services.
- Allowing unauthorized SSH or remote access from untrusted sources.
5. DNS & Network Integrity
Planisys enforces DNS security and privacy, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- All users must ensure proper DNS configurations to prevent abuse.
- Setting up malicious DNS resolvers or DNS cache poisoning is strictly forbidden.
- Performing DNS tunneling to bypass network security policies is not allowed.
6. Enforcement & Violations
Planisys will take action against users violating this policy based on severity, history, and risk impact. Enforcement actions may include:
- Issuing a formal warning with a request for corrective action.
- Suspending affected services until compliance is restored.
- Applying financial penalties for repeated violations.
- Terminating accounts for severe or repeated offenses.
